It is difficult to do good things for other people, but there are several ways.
Some people know many ways and others just one, which is enough.
Then there are people who make others happy with words.
And then you have people who only know how to criticize.

The Buddharama Temple in the Netherlands was set up on August 12, 1973. The Thai Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Sompong Sucharitkul, presided the opening ceremony which solemnly took place on October 24, 1973. Buddhist communities in the Netherlands, Belgium, West Germany, France and some other countries, cooperated to make the opening possible.
Resident Thai Monks provide the services at the temple. It opens every day from 08.00 a.m. - 18.00 p.m.

AIM OF THE TEMPLE
The aim of the Temple is to propagate the teachings of Lord Buddha among an increasing number of Western Buddhists. This happens under the supervision of H.E. Phra Phudthachaan, a member of the Elders council of the Thai Sangha. The Bhikkhus and one attendant carry out all the activities at the temple. The following classes have been organized to give instruction in Buddhism : classes in Buddhist Theory, and classes in Meditation Practice. During the week and also on weekends, classes and lectures are held at the Temple and other appropiate places such as universities, schools and institutes. The Buddhist holidays and Thai festivals are commenced accordingly.
